Freedom from the Inside Out

In Galatians, Paul has made it absolutely clear that we are in no way under the law. Our acceptance by the Father is based only on our faith in the finished work of Christ. No rules. No laws. That is certainly a risky statement to make. It is risky for parents of teens who are wondering, “What are we going to tell our kids when they hear their Pastor say, “There is no law.” It is risky for some who might say, “Alright!!! If there are no rules, then I can live anyway I want to live. God doesn’t care.” While we are not obligates to external rules written on tablets of stone, we must follow the lead of the Spirit who is living inside of us.
