Perhaps for many believers, the most frustrating part of their Christian life is their prayer life. We seek divine intervention, and we wonder why it doesn’t work. It’s frustrating. Frustrating because it seems like prayer should be the most powerful thing we can do, and yet we are so weak. Frustrating because it seems like praying ought to be so fulfilling, and yet we are left empty. This week we will see that for prayer to be fulfilling instead of frustrating, we must recognize that fulfilling prayer is based on relationship.
