Pete and Jodi Tjelta,
Next Generation Council Chair
We believe children, family, and the home play a critical role in the accomplishment of our mission. We will partner with families to equip them for gospel ministry in their homes and for discipling the next generation. Ministries serving every age group are constantly recruiting help - from nursery, through Sunday School, AWANA and The Underground youth group.

Outreach Team
Bethel Church’s outreach team exists to spread the gospel - from the Lake Region, around the globe. Outreach works hand-in-hand with both local and international missionaries and organizations, offering both hands-on support in the form or short-term missions, and ongoing financial support.

Worship Team Leaders
Bethel Church’s corporate worship exists to encourage, edify and inspire the people to greater degrees of faith and repentance in Jesus Christ through both the ministries of music and the word. Bethel Church’s personal worship will influence and ignite a lifestyle of worship in the lives of individuals and families. The worship team is always looking for musically, or technologically minded people to join the team, whether serving on stage or in the sound booth.

Facilities
Bethel is blessed with a beautiful building, having grown from humble beginnings with additions of a gym foyer and new sanctuary. More recently, the nursery was renovated and remodeled to better serve the children coming in. The facilities team is always looking for help with building maintenance, landscaping and general upkeep.
For even the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve...

Volunteer FAQ
How do I volunteer?
The best way to start is to contact the church office (701-662-3758, office@bethelfree.com), or approach anyone serving Sunday morning, after the service. They can connect you with leaders in the particular areas where you are interested.
How do I volunteer with kids?
The various children's ministries are always looking for enthusiastic new volunteers - whether caring for babies in the nursery, or helping teach a Sunday School class, or leading in AWANA, there is an eclectic mix of ways to serve children at Bethel.
How do I volunteer with music/sound?
The worship team is always looking for musically, or technologically minded people to join the team, whether serving on stage or in the sound booth. There is a short questionnaire to allow us to get to know you better and find your fit in the team. You can pick from up from the office or from any of the current worship leaders after the service.
How do I volunteer with students?
The Underground has opportunities to serve either with the Wednesday night youth group, or in the Sunday school class. Additionally, there is always a need for help with activities, bringing snacks and meals. Finally, and most importantly, the students always need prayer and support, and it's impossible to overstate the value of a one-on-one mentor in the life of a student.
